This method is more cost-effective than high vacuum coating. Additionally, the sol-gel process enables effective coating and treatment of large glass surfaces. After thin layers are applied to the glass surface by methods such as dipping or spraying, the glass is tempered at high temperatures, resulting in the formation of<strong> metal oxide layers <\/strong>that adhere firmly to the surface.
