{"id":3749,"date":"2022-02-15T14:50:35","date_gmt":"2022-02-15T13:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neu.gmbu.de\/?p=3749"},"modified":"2024-09-24T09:29:12","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T07:29:12","slug":"funktionelles-prototyping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gmbu.de\/en\/fachsektionen\/halle\/funktionelles-prototyping\/","title":{"rendered":"Functional prototyping"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a part of R&#038;D projects and customer orders different prototypical solutions and product developments up to small series have been realized.<br>Prototypes and engineered products that were successfully realized thanks to additive processes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>adapters, mounts, devices and housings for metrological applications (prototypes, accessories, spare parts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cooling \/ tempering devices (prototypes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>flushing devices for optical sensors (prototype and small series)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gauge heads for optical and magnet resonance processes (prototypes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tools for injection moulding (prototypes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>customer specific product development, construction and additive manufacturing to order<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, we handle process-related developments like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>optimizing efficiency of additive series manufacturing of small components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additive manufacturing of transparent plastics and illuminated advertising components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additive processes for hybrid component manufacturing<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The additive processing was done as Fused Deposition Modeling (Fused Filament Fabrication \/ Fused Granular Fabrication). On the one hand, the advantage of FDM is the wide range of suitable materials: basically all available thermoplastics can be processed, including extrusion and fused deposition types &#8211; although not all materials are equally suited. On the other hand, the market offers a large choice of different machines especially for filament-based processing &#8211; from hobby device to industrial-suited machine.
