Project “PhoTexCyan”

The aim of the project was to develop and provide a photocatalytically functionalized, flexible fabric for use in water to prevent algae blooms.

On the basis of the textile fabrics developed, characterized and provided by KSO Textil GmbH Zittau and the solar-photocatalytically active functional agents developed, characterized and provided by GMBU e.V., Thorey Textilveredelung GmbH Gera developed finishing processes and produced functionalized textile surfaces on a pilot scale, which were tested under real conditions.
